Here's what everyone is talking about at the water cooler today.
Something to bring up over lunch today. To say Patriots and Eagles fans are passionate is an understatement. In Philadelphia, they have banned all things New England including Boston Market (temporarily the Philly Market), Sam Adams beer and Boston Cream donuts. In Boston, they’ve banned Philadelphia cream cheese, anything with Philly natives Will Smith and Sylvester Stallone in it, bald eagles and of course cheese steaks.
For the first time ever, the home team Patriots chose to wear white uniforms in the Super Bowl. Why? Maybe because 12 of the last 13 winners wore white. The Patriots are the home team because their conference, the AFC (American Football Conference), is the home team on even number years. (In case you’re wondering, the Eagles are wearing green).
Chris Long, who won a Super Bowl ring with the Patriots last year and now plays for the Eagles, made a bet that if the Eagles won the Super Bowl he would get a tattoo of his lineman coach’s face. No word on the location of said tattoo.
