The famed Met Gala was Monday night and while the event oozed with Hollywood royalty, a few lucky ducks from the sports world made their appearance. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (NFL – National Football League) wore a much-mocked blazer that his supermodel wife, Gisele, picked out. Carolina Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton (NFL) brought down the house with his fancy tuxedo and then there was Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez dancing the night away. PICS

The Houston Rockets Chris Paul (NBA – National Basketball Association) has accomplished many things in his 13-year career including appearances at numerous all-star games and a slew of State Farm commercials. One thing he’s never accomplished until now? Making it to the conference finals in the playoffs. For the first time ever, MLB (Major League Baseball) will head to Europe. The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox will take their storied rivalry on the road to London in June 2019. As you may know, baseball is not big in the UK so this is a hopeful foray into a new market for MLB. (The NFL has played games in Europe for years to a seemingly interested fan base).
