Ballin' on a budget. Following recent school budget cuts, the Oakland Raiders (NFL- National Football League) are giving $250,000 to help reinstate youth athletic programs in their community. The team owner said they decided to step in and help because they want student-athletes to be able to chase their dreams. WE'D CALL THAT A TOUCHDOWN

It's been so hot in New York (with heat indexes up to 107°F), that the U.S. Tennis Association had to create an extreme heat policy for the current U.S. Open tournament. Under the new policy, players get a 10-minute break between the third and fourth sets to take a cold shower. LET'S COOL DOWN
