UEFA Championship

Manchester City beat Inter Milan for the UEFA Championship League title this weekend. They also took home the “treble.” And what is the treble? It's the three major tournaments in soccer. Meaning the team won the FA Cup, which are English teams. They won the Premier League title, which includes English professional teams. And they won the Champions League title, which is European teams. Congrats to Man City on their big win.

NBA (National Basketball Association)/NHL (National Hockey League) FINals

Let's talk about South Florida. Both of their professional teams that are in the finals in their leagues are at the same 3-1 deficit. The Denver Nuggets pulled off a win this weekend over the Miami Heat, putting them up 3-1. The Nuggets can take home the title on Monday if they win. In the Stanley Cup Finals, the Vegas Golden Knights are up 3-1 against the Florida Panthers, and the Knights can take home their first title on Tuesday with a win.

French Open

Novak Djokovic had a phenomenal French Open, as he tends to do. He won his 23rd Grand Slam title. That is the most out of any man in the sport of tennis. He tied that record with Serena Williams and Margaret Court. On the women’s side, No. 1 ranked Iga Swiatek took home her third French Open title. The winners took home $2.5M in prize money, which is up 4.5% from last year.

PGA (Professional Golfers Association)

Nick Taylor sunk a 72-foot putt to win the Canadian Open. He's the first Canadian to win the Canadian Open in 69 years.
