Here's what everyone is talking about at the water cooler today.

Overtime

To say that the two championship parades yesterday were a party is an understatement. The Washington Capitals (NHL – National Hockey League) have been boozing it up all over the country since winning last week, even doing a Stanley Cup keg stand with Jimmy Fallon. One of their players notably stated yesterday during their victory parade in D.C., “Finally, we started playing hockey like we can party.” Cue “We Are The Champions.”

Sideline stat

The Golden State Warriors (NBA – National Basketball Association) still have plenty to celebrate at their third victory parade in four years. The team’s alcohol budget for the players at yesterday’s parade? A rumored $500,000. That was the second most expensive party in the last few days for the team. They dropped $400,000 on champagne the night they swept the Cavaliers to win it all. BALLERS, LITERALLY
