1. Let's talk about This year's halftime show is every millennial's dream featuring five rap and R&B stars: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar. Blige is the only one of these artists who has performed at the Super Bowl before (2001). Combined, the five performers have 43 Grammys and 21 Billboard No. 1 albums. Did you know that halftime performers are not paid for their performance? The NFL pays the production costs, but there's no appearance fee.

2. The price of a Super Bowl commercial increased this year with NBC charging $6.5 million for a 30-second spot, up from the $5.5 million CBS fetched for last year's game. This year, newcomers to the Super Bowl commercials include crypto.com and wholesale chain Sam's Club, which Wal-Mart owns.
