The PGA Championship's final round on Sunday lacked the big names of Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods, but that didn't matter as Justin Thomas claimed the title in a playoff against Will Zalatoris. Woods dropped out after posting one of the worst scores in his career on Saturday. On Sunday, Thomas had had a 1.2% chance of winning. He had one of the largest comebacks in a Major championship to claim his second Major title. EYE ON THE PRIZE

At 67-years-old, "Today" show's Al Roker ran the Brooklyn Half Marathon. It was the same marathon where one runner died amid excessive heat conditions in New York City.

The French Open (tennis) is underway, and Iga Swiatek (No. 1) is on a hot streak. With her first French Open win this morning, she continued her 29-match win streak. Swiatek is striving for Venus Williams' 35-match win streak she set in 2000. The French Open is the only Grand Slam tournament played on clay courts.
