Werk It

We love a dose of fashion faux pas and sports on a Monday morning (or any morning for that matter), and today is no different.

Wimbledon

The Wimbledon men's final went as you might expect, with Novak Djokovic winning his seventh Wimbledon and 21st Grand Slam. Also, as expected, there were outbursts from his opponent Nick Kyrgios. In front of Prince George, who attended for the first time, Kyrgios yelled at the umpire about numerous things, including a woman in the stands who had "700 drinks." He then broke protocol by putting on a red Jordan hat for the awards ceremony, something that's a no-no. The strict Wimbledon dress code states, "Competitors must be dressed in suitable tennis attire that is almost entirely white…White does not include off-white or cream." Hopefully, the Jordan brand will pay his fine, which will surely follow. FASHION FAUX PAS

Short and Sweet

  • We love Jennifer Garner and Glennon Doyle wearing "official soccer mom" shirts and handing out postgame oranges at the Angel City FC game. Garner, Doyle and a whole host of A-list celebrities like Natalie Portman and Eva Longoria are owners of the NWSL (National Women's Soccer League) team.

  • Elena Rybakina changed her citizenship from Russian to Kazakhstan, and that change paid off as she won the Wimbledon women's singles tournament. She and Djokovic took home the same paycheck - $2.01 million.

  • Tony Romo outlasts all the celebrities and athletes to win the AC Champions celebrity golf tournament for the third time and in front of his biggest fans, his family.

  • The MLB (Major League Baseball) All-Stars list is out, and the Anaheim Angels' Shohei Ohtani will play as both a pitcher and hitter, a rare feat. The MLB All-Star Game is on Jul 19 in Los Angeles.

Before We Go

The WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) All-Star Game in Chicago did not disappoint. A'ja Wilson's all-star team emerged victorious in a game that saw a slam dunk by Sylvia Fowles in her last all-star game. (Dunks are not commonplace in the WNBA like in the NBA). The women didn't forget about their girl Brittney Griner. After halftime, all players emerged from the locker room wearing No. 42, Griner's number. #WEAREBG

Tailgate Treat

What's for dinner tonight? How about this Tailgate Treat? The ahi poke stack is a restaurant favorite that is deceivingly easy to make. DELISH
