The weekend is almost here, and there's a lot to look forward to, from a thrilling NWSL Championship showdown to NFL games that might make you reminisce about a particular mustachioed legend. We've got all the exciting details for you, so let's dive in!

NWSL Championship: Rapinoe vs. Krieger

Megan Rapinoe and Ali Krieger, two legends of women's soccer, recently announced their retirement after the 2023 NWSL season. However, they're not done with the sport just yet. Their NWSL teams, Rapinoe's OL Reign and Krieger's Gotham FC, are set to go head-to-head in the NWSL Championship on Saturday, November 11.

Rapinoe, who has spent her entire NWSL (National Women's Soccer League) career with the Reign, joined the team in its inaugural year in 2013. The Reign has never won an NWSL title. In her second season with Gotham FC, Krieger is also on the hunt for her first NWSL championship. It promises to be a game filled with intensity and emotion as these two soccer stars battle it out one last time.

In an exciting development, Tiffany & Co. and the NWSL have collaborated to design a brand-new championship trophy. This championship marks the first-ever collaboration between these two iconic names. In addition to Eli Manning, investors in the Gotham FC include retired WNBA star spouse Sue Bird and former U.S. women's national team player Carli Lloyd. The league just signed a new broadcast rights deal with 118 national windows on CBS Sports, ESPN, Prime Video and Scripps Sports. The four-year contract with each partner will generate record-breaking distribution and revenue for the league

NFL in Germany: Minshew, Belichick and Hasselhoff Vibes

In Germany, NFL (National Football League) fans had the chance to witness a thrilling game between the Dolphins and Chiefs last week. However, this week, they might find themselves watching the Colts take on the Patriots, a matchup that has led to speculation about Bill Belichick's future with the Patriots.

Then there's Colts' quarterback Garner Minshew become a legend in Germany, much like the beloved David Hasselhoff. With his charismatic Tom Selleck, there's undoubtedly room for Minshew to leave his mark on international football fans.

The NFL has the power to flex primetime games, but for Week 10, it has chosen not to exercise that option, which means that the NFL slate of nationally televised games this weekend might not be as thrilling as some fans had hoped.

The Chicken Dance: Free Chicken Shacks at Shake Shack

Are you ready for some free chicken? If an NFL player scores a touchdown and breaks into the famous chicken dance in the end zone on Sunday, November 12, you could be in for a treat. Shake Shack has an exciting offer: if a player does the chicken dance after a touchdown, you can get a free Chicken Shack sandwich when you spend at least $10.

With the NWSL Championship, NFL action and the prospect of free Chicken Shacks, this weekend offers a little something for everyone. It's a celebration of great talent, legendary moments, and fun surprises.
