How's that bracket doing? The biggest upset in the men's tournament thus far was No. 13 Furham beating No. 3 ranked Virginia, but it certainly wasn't the only one. If you picked Furham, good for you. Their win had many of us asking, where is Furham? Furman University is a private liberal arts university (that is clearly good at basketball) in Greenville, South Carolina.

Short and Sweet

  • Michael Jordan is selling his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets (National Basketball Association). Jordan, the league's only Black majority owner, hasn't seen his success as a player translate into team ownership.

  • Sabrina Ionescu's first signature shoe with Nike features 'Easter Eggs' of the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) star's personal story.

  • WTA (Women's Tennis Association) is partnering with CVC Capital to the tune of $150M for a 20% stake, increasing commercial revenue and greater prize money.

  • Out of the millions submitted, only 787 perfect brackets remain after day one of the men's March Madness tournament. Thanks, Princeton
