Look Into The Crystal Ball
The weekend looks exciting with stories about Papal football love, championship weekend and why NYC is short 30k pennies.
We can tell you that you’re going to conquer the small talk this weekend.
But we can’t predict the weather,

College Football
It is championship weekend in college football. But what does that mean? The various conference championship games will determine the four teams that will go into the playoffs and vie for the national championship. It will also determine which teams play in which bowl game. The top three spots for the playoffs are all but locked up (LSU, Ohio State and Clemson) with Georgia, Utah and Oklahoma chasing the fourth spot. PREDICTING THE FUTURE
Overtime
Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens (NFL – National Football League) is in the lead for the league’s MVP and apparently his fans are looking to a higher power to lock that up along with a Super Bowl win. The Archdiocese of Baltimore gave Pope Francis a Jackson signed jersey during a visit to Rome this week. The Pope is a huge soccer fan so no word if he’ll jump on the Baltimore Ravens bandwagon anytime soon. NOW IF IT WAS A SAINTS JERSEY…

The NFL is getting wild and crazy this weekend and loosening up their strict uniform rules. They’re allowing players to express themselves with the “My Cause My Cleats” campaign. Over 900 NFL players will wear custom cleats that promote and benefit charities of their choice. The causes range from rescue puppies to Special Olympics to youth wellness. Players have the opportunity to auction off their cleats on the NFL’s website with 100% of the proceeds benefiting their designated charity. EVERYONE WINS WHEN YOU SHOP FOR A CAUSE

While stuck in New York City traffic, NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) driver Kyle Busch bet his fellow drivers Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex, Jr., who were also in the car, that he could beat them to the hotel by jogging there. Turns out he was right. Well Hamlin and Truex paid off their bet, in pennies. Lots of pennies. They dumped over 30,000 pennies on Busch’s hotel room bed to pay off the bet. STILL SPENDS THE SAME WAY
We're Gonna Need A Bigger Belt
The bulldog is best, rivalry weekend is upon us and how duck calling made its way to the football field.
Whether you're at the office, in line for a stellar Black Friday deal or brunching with mimosas, be the most captivating person in the room with all of this newfound knowledge.
Jack of all trades,

COLLEGE FOOTBALL
This weekend is packed full of rivalry games from the Iron Bowl to Bedlam to the Territorial Cup. But the biggest game of the weekend is Ohio State (#1) - Michigan (#10). Why? Because nothing would make Michigan happier than to spoil the undefeated season of their rival Buckeyes. Keep an eye on the Wolverines coach Jim Harbaugh in his khakis, who has never beaten this rival. THOSE RASCALLY BUCKEYES

While your turkey may have made a good showing yesterday, the best in show of Thanksgiving Day was Thor the Bulldog, who won best in show at the National Dog Show. The beefy bulldog celebrated his win with a snack. THE CHAMP IS HERE

The stars came out for NFL (National Football League) Thanksgiving Day halftime shows yesterday. Ellie Goulding said the show must go on despite rumors she would cancel on the Salvation Army sponsored halftime show for the organizations anti-LGBT beliefs. Brothers Osborne brought the house down in Detroit, literally. The power went out during their halftime show. MIC DROP

The guy you need to know for this weekend is Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL) starting quarterback Devlin Hodges, aka the “Duck.” In his previous life, he won the National Duck Calling competition. The Duck is taking over for Mason Rudolph (who was part of the infamous helmet swinging incident last week). Luckily for Rudolph, Steelers superfan Mark McGrath, the lead singer of Sugar Ray, thanked Rudolph for his service to the team. SOMEDAY
WHAT TO WATCH
Ole Miss lost their rivalry game in the most dramatic way. One of their players decided to celebrate his game winning touchdown by pretending to be a dog peeing on a fire hydrant. The refs didn't like it, gave him a penalty and Ole Miss lost the game. BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE

The quest for Lizzo’s mystery man, who’s ship sank and don’t piss off these fans.
Lizzo, the Olympics and a capsized ship…sounds like the start to a very interesting joke but alas, it’s what we’re talking about in today’s Weekend Preview.
It’s your lucky day,

All eyes will be on the Penn State – Ohio State game in Columbus, OH this weekend. All the big college football shows will be there including "ESPN College GameDay." Who won’t be showing up on set to cheer for their team on the set of the ESPN show? Ohio State Buckeye fans. They’re royally pissed about the on-air treatment their team has received. They've sent a plethora of tweets telling the show to stay home. YOU DON’T HAVE TO GO HOME BUT YOU CAN’T STAY HERE
One person who won’t be staying home is Ohio State’s star Chase Young who was suspended for two games for taking a "loan." The Heisman candidate will return to the field this weekend. DID THE TIME

Grammy nominated Lizzo is an open book but one mystery that still remains unsolved is who exactly is that Minnesota Vikings (NFL – National Football League) player she’s referring to in her song "Truth Hurts?" Well Stefon Diggs of the Vikings is determined to find out. The list could be long as the song was released in 2017 so that player may not even be on the team any longer. MYSTERY MINNESOTAN

It’s the last official tournament of the PGA (Professional Golfers Association) Tour this weekend and while the seaside course is beautiful, there’s one thing wrong with the picture-perfect landscape. The backdrop of the Sea Island Golf Club’s Planation Course is a capsized cargo ship. Yes, off the shore is a giant cargo ship on its side in the water. The Golden Ray capsized on September 8 and is still there. In case you’re wondering the cargo is 4,200 cars. AMPHIBIOUS VEHICLES
