Invictus Games
This weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan will kick off the fifth Invictus Games in The Hauge, Netherlands. ‘Invictus’ means unconquered, which is also reflected in the motto for the games.
Inspired by visiting the Warrior Games in the U.S., Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014. The motto, “I AM,” embodies the belief that a person can still be undefeatable even with an illness or injury. Five hundred sick, wounded or injured service members from 20 nations to compete in a series of adaptive sports, including archery, track and field, powerlifting and golf. STRONGER TOGETHER
Short and Sweet
All MLB (Major League Baseball) players, managers, coaches and umpires will wear No. 42 in Dodger blue for the first time on Jackie Robinson Day, which is today.
The NBA (National Basketball Association) playoffs will pit team owners Justin Timberlake (Grizzlies) against Alex Rodriguez (Timberwolves) when they start tomorrow.
After flipping off Evander Kane, Ryan Hartman was fined by the NHL (National Hockey League). But thanks to fans (and Kane's ex-wife), he won't have to pay it all himself.
The College Gymnastics Championship is this weekend, and some of your favorite Olympians, like Suni Lee, will be competing for new hardware to add to their collection.
Before We Go
After a 37-year hiatus, the eight-team USFL (United States Football League) will play its first games of the season this weekend. The original league was considered successful, launching careers of some of the best in the NFL (National Football League) like quarterbacks Steve Young and Jim Kelly and running back Herschel Walker. The revived league is attempting to reinvent itself with new rules and computer-chipped footballs during its 10-week regular season.
Now don't confuse this with the XFL (no one knows exactly what XFL stands for), the football league run by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The once-bust league will start playing in 2023. THE MORE THE MERRIER?

THE MASTERS
While Tiger Woods was the story yesterday, there's a new leader in the clubhouse, South Korean player Sungjae Im. But Woods showed up yesterday at The Masters, ending day one tied for 10th. Since he's been out of the limelight for quite some time, Woods may have forgotten his golf etiquette. He dropped an F-bomb on live TV while talking to his ball. HOT MIC

The NBA (National Basketball Association) regular season wraps up this week, and while there are plenty of teams that are out, like the Lakers, there are a handful of teams fighting to the finish in hopes of a playoff spot. Many scenarios could play out this weekend, but you need to know that the next stop for some will be the NBA Play-In Tournament that includes teams with the 7th through 10th-highest winning percentages in each conference. It will take place April 12-15. ON THE EDGE OF OUR SEATS

March Madness
The Final Four starts today, and if you're like country superstar Eric Church, you're calling in sick to work to catch the excitement. Eric Church canceled his sold-out Saturday night concert to watch his beloved North Carolina Tarheels in person when they take on bitter rivals Duke in the men's Final Four. Also hitting the hardwood on Saturday are Villanova and Kansas. The men's championship game is on Monday.
In the women's tournament, the team from South Carolina received a boost heading into the final games; their head coach Dawn Staley was named coach of the year and Aliyah Boston, player of the year. Also playing in the Final Four today are Stanford (defending champs), UConn and Louisville. LET'S DO THIS
