The NFL Season Is Here
Get ready for the 2023 NFL season, kicking off tomorrow, September 7, with the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Detroit Lions.
It's anyone's guess what a Tom Brady-less season looks like, but it will bring us a season of firsts. The first Super Bowl in Las Vegas. This is the first time we've been excited about a "Mr. Irrevelant" to start the season (aka Brock Purdy of the 49ers). As it stands, The Buffalo Bills, Philadephia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are the top four favorites to win it all at the end of the season.

Short and Sweet
Things are heating up at the US Open (tennis) for the Americans. Coco Gauff moves on to her first semifinals at the Open, as does Ben Shelton. Shelton is the youngest American male to reach the Open semifinals since 1992, ten years before he was born.
After a loss to Lithuania, Team USA advanced to the semifinals in the FIBA World Cup with a win over Italy. They have already qualified for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Los Angeles Lakers (NBA - National Basketball Association) President Jeanie Buss and comedian Jay Mohr are married.
It's not how Kansas City Chiefs fans want to start the season. Team leader Travis Kelce injured his knee during practice yesterday and is questionable for tomorrow night's NFL season opener.

DEION SANDERS DOMINATES
In December 2022, Deion Sanders made headlines with a game-changing contract at Colorado. Fast forward to Saturday, and we're witnessing a sports revolution. Sanders' new team, which features 86 new players, including his sons Shedeur and Shilo, took home a big first win for Coach Prime over TCU. TCU played but lost in the National Championship game last year.
Colorado AD Rick George's faith in Sanders paid off despite initial budget concerns. Football season tickets sold out for the first time since '96, and Colorado's spring game drew over 550,000 viewers on ESPN. The result? A staggering $28M in donations surpasses 2022's $20.2M. The Sanders effect is undeniable.
Thrilling Tennis
Americans infiltrate the US Open quarterfinals with Ben Shelton, Frances Tiafoe, Taylor Fritz and Coco Gauff heading to the next round.
Americans Madison Keys and Jessica Pegula play this morning to determine who will join Gauff in the quarterfinals.
Max Verstappen's Historic Feat

Team USA Qualifies for the Olympics, even with a loss
The U.S. men’s basketball team lost to Lithuania at the FIBA World Cup but still advanced to the quarterfinals and qualified for the Olympics.

It's a powerful comeback that's sure to have everyone glued to their screens and talking about Wozniacki's undeniable resilience.
