Week 2: Cheddar And Bacon Jalapeños

Ingredients:

  • 8 jalapeño peppers

  • 1 cup of cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican cheese mix)

  • 4 slices of bacon or turkey bacon cooked and chopped

  • Garlic salt to taste

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees

  2. Slice jalapeño peppers in half down the center and hollow out inside. Place on baking sheet.

  3. In a small bowl - mix the cream cheese, bacon, garlic salt and cheese.

  4. With a spoon, fill hollowed peppers with cream cheese filling

  5. Top with additional shredded cheese. 

  6. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until peppers soften
