College Football

On Saturday, the top four teams in college football will face off for a chance to play in the national championship game on January 7. Clemson (2) will play Notre Dame (3) in the Cotton Bowl (Dallas) and Oklahoma (4) will take on Alabama (1) in the Orange Bowl (Miami).

In the Orange Bowl, Heisman Trophy winner Kyler Murray (Oklahoma) will face the Heisman runner up, Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama). Tagovailoa will certainly have extra motivation to bring home a win after the Heisman loss. CLASSIC CLASH

Overtime

We previously brought you the story of Tyler Trent, the Purdue super fan who is battling cancer. His story continues Friday at the Music City Bowl in Nashville. Purdue will play Auburn and Trent will serve as the game's honorary captain. As the cherry on top, he flew on the Indianapolis Colts’ (NFL – National Football League) private plane to the game. Sideline stat

Inter Milan (soccer) will be forced to play two home games behind closed doors without any fans after two separate incidents where one of their fans died and four opposing fans were stabbed. In addition, they face allegations of racist chants during a home game. BAD NEWS BEARS

Coaches’ corner

UFC 232 (Ultimate Fighting Championship) will take place on Saturday in Los Angeles after executives moved the fight from Las Vegas this week. The fighters aren’t happy with the move and there’s no telling how many fans will be in attendance to witness the two title fights since the event was moved with less than a week’s notice.
