The Thanksgiving weekend is over so let the onslaught of holiday parties begin.

Your small talk sorted,

The Last Night’s Game Team

College Football

Rivalry weekend in college football did not disappoint. Alabama lost again and Michigan still can’t beat their rivals at Ohio State. The conference championships are this week and then we’ll roll into college football bowl game season. Yep, the toilet bowl is around the corner. THE END IS NEAR

Overtime

Break out your tissues for this one. Michigan State senior Josh Butler lost both of his parents over the course of his college career, so he had no one to walk out with him during senior night this weekend. Cue man’s best friends, Roxy and Remi, his dogs that stepped in to escort him on his momentous night. GOOD DOGS

Sideline stat

The NBA’s (National Basketball Association) leading candidate for MVP Luca Doncic not only plays a big game but has a big heart. He helped raise over $2.2 million for boy he never met. Kris Zudich has a rare genetic condition and with Doncic’s help the little guy was able to receive treatment at UCLA and the two finally met this weekend. The very expensive treatment was possible thanks to generous Slovenian citizens and celebrities like Doncic. COME TOGETHER

Coaches’ corner

You may have never heard of the Hershey Bears but they’re breaking world records. The minor league hockey team’s fans broke a world record by tossing 45,650 teddy bears and stuffed animals on the ice, all in the name of charity. The annual event benefits over 40 central Pennsylvania organizations. HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT
