Mahomes and Matthews welcomed daughter Sterling Skye to the Kansas City Chiefs (NFL – National Football League) family this weekend. The face of the next generation of baseball players, Fernando Tatis Jr., signed a massive $340 million contract with the San Diego Padres (MLB – Major League Baseball). He revealed that he took out a loan during his minor league career to offset the low pay. Now he owes Big League Advance, "a company that offers select minor leaguers upfront payments in exchange for a percentage of their future earnings in Major League Baseball,” around $27.2 million.
