Short and Sweet
The Atlanta Braves (MLB - Major League Baseball) will soon become a publicly traded company. The team will join the Green Bay Packers (NFL - National Football League) as the only major American sports franchise to be publicly owned.
Virginia canceled their game this weekend after the shooting that left three players dead. The teams in their conference, the ACC, will all wear "Virginia Strong" decals on their helmets to show their support.
New England Patriots (NFL - National Football League) player Lawrence Guy and his wife Andrea host a baby shower for single mothers at Gillette Stadium after Andrea's own newborn hospital experience. Hopefully, this will bring the team good karma heading into Sunday's game vs. the Jets.

The Milwaukee Bucks (NBA - National Basketball Association) won't be allowed to wear their "Cream City" uniforms - the nickname given to the city for its style of brick used in early Milwaukee architecture. Why? Because they interfere with the technology used for digitally inserted, on-court advertisements seen only on the television broadcast. MONEY TALKS
