NFL (NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE)

Expect the unexpected. Every game this weekend came down to the last play in what could've been the best weekend in the NFL in decades. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are out, but Patrick Mahomes and second-year quarterback Joe Burrow are in. The four remaining teams will play next Sunday for a spot in the Super Bowl. BEFORE WE GO

Minor league hockey team, the Hershey Bears, put their annual "Teddy Bear Toss" on hold during the pandemic, but fans showed up in a big way this year in its' 20th year. Collecting 52,341 animals on Saturday, the team shattered their previous record of 45,650 toys, set in 2019, and set a new world record. Over 50 volunteers bagged up the stuffed animals thrown on the ice to give to 25 local charities. SPREADING CHEER
