Super Bowl LVIII made history with an epic overtime showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers (NFL - National Football League). Despite trailing at halftime, the Chiefs rallied to victory, cementing their status as true underdogs turned dynasty. Patrick Mahomes led the charge, earning his third Super Bowl MVP title and joining legends Terry Bradshaw and Tom Brady in the elite club.

Meanwhile, the Waste Management Open (PGA - Professional Golfers Association) in Phoenix lived up to its reputation as the "greatest party on grass" – as alcohol sales were abruptly cut off and entry to the tournament was shut down due to overcrowding. Canadian golfer Nick Taylor emerged victorious despite the chaos after a thrilling playoff against Charley Hoffman.
