Kentucky derby

Are you ready for the fastest two minutes in sports? The Kentucky Derby is happening on May 6, and it's one of the best events for horse racing fans and betting enthusiasts alike. Even if you don't typically follow sports, the Kentucky Derby is the perfect event for you – you only have to watch two minutes of horses once a year.

Are you considering betting on the horses? As of today, the favorite to win the Kentucky Derby is a horse named Forte, but as we all know, anything can happen on race day. Our favorite horses' names in the race include Classic Car Wash, Cyclone Mischief, Instant Coffee, Don't Get It and All Other 3-Year-Olds (all the horses must be 3-year-old males).

So, listen to this week's podcast, place your bets, grab your drinks, and let's watch those horses run. LISTEN UP

Short and Sweet

  • Who would you pick in a battle between Snoop Dogg and Ryan Reynolds? They are both contenders to buy the Ottawa Senators (NHL - National Hockey League). BTW have you been watching the NHL playoffs? They've been insane

  • FIFA threatens a Women's World Cup broadcast blackout in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain over media rights offers.

  • After a night at the Met Gala, the stars showed up to cheer on the New York Knicks (NBA - National Basketball Association) in their playoff series against the Miami Heat. Tennis legend Roger Federer, Aaron Rodgers, Dave Chappelle, Martha Stewart, Chris Rock and Jessica Alba were just a few of the celebs who were present for the Knicks win.

  • The Philadelphia 76ers Joel Embiid (NBA) won his first league MVP last night, and his reaction was heartwarming.
