The biggest name in college basketball, Duke’s Zion Williamson blew it in front of a record rivalry game crowd that included former president Barack Obama. Williamson blew out his shoe and possibly his knee. Coincidentally, Nike’s stock dropped after the tragedy, although that may or may not have been related to the issues people were having with their self-lacing shoes. A nine-year-old girl has decided to take matters into her own hands. After losing while playing a MLB-licensed (Major League Baseball) game at Chuck E. Cheese, the game taunted her when it said “there’s always softball.” She was upset because it made softball seem like a bad sport so she wrote the game manufacturer, MLB and Chuck E. Cheese. Two minor league baseball players are making people do a double take. They’re both named Brady Feigl, both are 6’4” pitchers, both have red hair and wear thick rimmed glasses. The only difference is they play for different teams. They decided to take a DNA test to see if they were long-lost twins but despite the anticipation, they’re not. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?
COACHES’ CORNER
A handful of NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) drivers including Chase Elliott will wear special DESI9N TO DRIVE shoes in this weekend’s race. The shoes were designed by children at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and they’ll be auctioned off post-race to benefit the organization’s summer camp. DRIVING FOR CHANGE

NFL (National Football League)
When you’re thinking about quitting your day job. The NFL (National Football League) has partnered with the NBA (National Basketball League) to provide their players with an externship to prepare for life after football. If you’re in Manhattan on Tuesday, don’t be surprised to see an NFL player ringing up your purchases at the NBA Store. One player not looking for a job? Retired NFL player Charles “Peanut” Tillman who recently became a full-time FBI agent. What like it’s hard?
Golf
So a tiger and a goose walk into a bar. Tiger Woods finished a tournament in the top 15 for the first time since 2015 but it wasn’t without some sacrifices. He hit an unsuspecting goose with a shot. The goose was okay but it would've been better if it ducked.
Overtime
The U.S. Curling team won its first ever gold medal in the Winter Olympics, something The Simpsons predicted back in 2010. The team was on top of the world until they tweeted at Delta for possible upgrades on their flights home. Delta promptly denied their request stating that they “didn’t have any upgrades to offer but congratulations.” The answer’s always no if you don’t ask.
Sideline stat
Norway took home the most medals at the Games, 39, breaking the record for most medals won by a country in the Winter Olympics. The previous record was held by the United States.

In September, the FBI released the names of four college basketball teams that were part of a pay-to-play scandal. Over the weekend the FBI released additional coaches, players, agents and schools involved in the scandal. The list now includes, but isn’t limited to, Oklahoma State University, Auburn, University of Arizona, Duke, North Carolina, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan State, USC, Kansas and Alabama. Justin Timberlake may be performing during the NFL's halftime show but that didn't stop him from ruffling some feathers with a statement he made in a press conference. Amid all the concussion controversy that surrounds the league, he told a reporter that his son would "never play football."

On Sunday before the Super Bowl, you can tune into the Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl. The real winners, besides the viewers of course, are the puppies because all of them are adoptable shelter dogs. (Hint: they all get adopted). This year’s game will feature 90 puppies from a record 58 shelters and rescue groups from 24 states and Puerto Rico. The cheerleaders? Obviously, baby barnyard animals. Experts predict over $4.76 billion will be wagered on the Super Bowl this year but only three percent of it will be legally bet in Nevada. The rest of the money will be bet with offshore sportsbooks and local bookmakers. (Nevada is currently the only state where you can bet on a single game). SPORTS BETTING 101

The biggest tradition in the storied Duke basketball program is “Krzyzewskiville," where students camp out before games to secure their game ticket. (The camp name is an homage to their coach). Since this year's flu has been so widespread and deadly, the school has closed the camp. Party poopers.
