Ladies start your engines. NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) announced its new show Racing Wives will debut on CMT in early 2019. The show will of course follow the wives of big named drivers like Kurt and Kyle Busch (who are brothers) but also an aspiring female driver who is working her way up the ladder in hopes of making it big on the track. Tributes to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, have been pouring in from around the globe since her death yesterday. She could move a crowd like no other with her rendition of the national anthem. Franklin holds the record for the longest national anthem in sports history - four minutes and 35 seconds. (For perspective, the longest anthem in Super Bowl history was sung by Alicia Keys in two minutes and 36 seconds). REST IN PEACE QUEEN

Yesterday, 16 teams from across the U.S. and the world began their quest for the title of Little League World Series Champions in Williamsport, PA. The little leaguers will have a chance to see their heroes play when the New York Mets play the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday in the MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport. DREAM BIG

Meet Kenny Hunt the “Sunburnt Man.” For 18 years, he has sunburnt his favorite NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) driver’s number onto his body using duct tape and mother nature. The NBA’s (National Basketball Association) Carmelo Anthony was traded to the Atlanta where he was a member of the Hawks organization for exactly five days. Then, having never played a game for the team, they bought him out of his $25.5 million contract, setting him free. College football fanatics either love or hate him. Alabama head coach Nick Saban knows how to win but the six-time national champion has a softer side. His wife revealed that when Saban received his first ever coaching bonus he didn’t buy a car or jewels. When you let them get the best of you. Last night was the first preseason game of the 2018-2019 season and it was played at in Canton, OH, home of the NFL Hall of Fame. Tomorrow, eight new inductees will be enshrined at the HOF but there will be one notable absence, former player Terrell Owens. He is an inductee but is not attending because he doesn’t like how the media portrayed him during his career nor the fact that his name was on the ballot for three years before he was voted in. He’ll be the first living inductee to miss the ceremony. THAT’LL SHOW THEM

It may look like NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) fast tracked to Halloween this weekend at Watkins Glen with drivers wearing skeleton gloves. The gloves, inspired by Dale Earnhardt Jr., will be signed by the drivers after the race and then auctioned off to benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital. NO BONES ABOUT IT

Court documents revealed that Detroit Pistons’ Blake Griffin (NBA – National Basketball League) has been ordered to pay over $3 million a year in child support for his two children with his ex-fiancée. While that may seem like a lot to us, that equates to 9% of his $35 million in annual earnings. In case you’re wondering, he was also once linked to Kendall Jenner. TAKE A CHECK?

Former troubled NFL (National Football League) quarterback Johnny Manziel has a new job and yes it’s playing football, not working undercover. (He once missed a football game due to injury and went to Vegas in a disguise instead of supporting his teammates on the sideline. He was quickly outed). Manziel will make his CFL (Canadian Football League) debut tonight for the Montreal Alouettes, his first regular season game as a professional football player since December 2015.
