Beach Body Fail
Why “I Will Always Love You” is a home run, abs < winning and QBs who chug beer.
Summer is here whether you’re ready or not.

MLB (Major League Baseball)
Baseball players tend to be very superstitious. If something works and the team is winning, they’ll keep up the tradition no matter how embarrassing. “I Will Always Love You” has become the theme song of the San Diego Padres. What started as a prank turned into nightly (awful) serenade but they’re winning so there you have it. YOUR EARS WILL NOT LOVE YOU

The NFL (National Football League) off-season has stirred up a lot of questions with the most important being, which NFL quarterback can chug a beer the fastest? Aaron Rodgers started this unofficial frat boy contest by attempting to chug a beer on the jumbotron at a basketball game and it wasn’t pretty. Therefore, other quarterbacks had to show him up and Chicago Bears Mitch Trubisky may have taken the cake by chugging a beer in mere seconds. IS THERE AN ALL-STAR TEAM FOR THAT?

The curse of Drake lives on. Drake is known for hanging out with winners who just can’t seem to win after they hang out with the rapper. Enter boxer Anthony Joshua. He was the shoo-in for Saturday night’s fight. Then he was TKO’d (technical knock out) in the seventh round by the people’s champion, Anthony Ruiz Jr. Ruiz’s win had people everywhere rethinking their summer diets. ABS OF STEEL ARE NOT NECESSARY

President Trump announced that Jerry West, the hall of fame player whose silhouette is the NBA (National Basketball Association) logo, will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. You might remember, Tiger Woods received the same honor a few weeks ago. HONORED TO BE HERE
It’s Getting Hot In Here

Sumo Wrestling
While visiting Japan, President Trump awarded the "United States President's Cup," a 60-pound trophy for an award that was made up just for his visit. Even as the honorary guest, he broke some sumo protocol including sitting in chairs instead of the traditional zabuton (a cushion on the floor) and wearing shoes into the sacred sumo ring. KONICHIWA

Breaking hearts everywhere, Houston Texans’ star J.J. Watt (NFL – National Football League) is off the market. This weekend, he popped the question to his professional soccer player girlfriend, Kealia Ohai, with an oceanfront proposal. TACKLING MARRIAGE

It only seemed fitting in their send-off game on Memorial Day weekend, that the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team showed the world what a true hero looks like. World War II veteran, Pete DuPré, 96, played the national anthem on his harmonica before the game. The women’s team is headed off to the Women’s World Cup in France, which starts next week. RESPECT
Coaches’ Corner
Starting tonight, the St. Louis Blues will take on the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals (NHL – National Hockey League). The teams competing in the NBA (National Basketball Association) Finals have also been set. The Toronto Raptors will be headed to their first ever finals appearance, sending Canada into a tizzy. Arnold Sports Festival
Arnold Schwarzenegger was in South Africa for his annual Arnold Sports Festival, which features professional and amateur bodybuilding, strength and combat sports and youth events. But that’s not the big story. Schwarzenegger was signing autographs for kids when a man came out of nowhere and drop kicked him in the back. He brushed it off and fought back by encouraging fans to share videos of the youth athletes vs “some guy who wants to be famous.” HASTA LA VISTA TWO MINUTES OF FAME

Looking for rainy day activities? Look no further than the Chicago White Sox-Toronto Blue Jays (MLB – Major League Baseball) game. During a three-hour rain delay the teams played Connect Four via Twitter and it was pretty epic. GAME ON

Tensions were high with $1 million on the line in the NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) All-Star Race. Kyle Larson took home the checkered flag but everyone’s talking about the punches thrown by Clint Bowyer at fellow driver Ryan Newman (while they were both wearing helmets). SEEMS LOGICAL?

At this weekend’s Preakness Stakes, the Porta Potty races were fast and so was War of Will, claiming the win. But the true winner is Bodexpress who lost his jockey in the starting gates and ran the race sans jockey. He finished the race ahead of two other horses that had jockeys. NOBODY GONNA HOLD HIM DOWN
WHAT TO WATCH
Fresh off his big win at the Masters, Tiger Woods struggled and missed the cut in the PGA (Professional Golfers Association) Championship this weekend. The weekend's victor, Brooks Koepka, may have taken home the trophy but cameras caught a focused Koepka ignoring a kiss from his girlfriend. SAVE IT FOR LATER
