An injured Patrick Mahomes carried his Chiefs to a last-second victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts dominated the San Francisco 49ers by setting the NFL’s record for rushing touchdowns in a single season by a quarterback. ONTO THE BIG SHOW

Former No. 1 overall WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) Draft pick and seven-time all-star Candace Parker, 36, is signing with the reigning champion Las Vegas Aces. Parker is seeking her third WNBA title.
Both taking home record paychecks at the Australian Open (tennis), Novak Djokovic secures his record-tying 22nd Grand Slam win. Aryna Sabalenka won her first Grand Slam, becoming the first "neutral" champion with the Belarus flag banned from the tournament.
Rory McIlroy held off his nemesis Patrick Reed to win the Dubai Desert Classic (golf). Reed threw a tee at McIlroy early in the tourney after serving McIlroy with a subpoena on Christmas Eve.
Ryan Reynolds surprised a youth soccer team by donating money to buy matching uniforms. The team is adding the Deadpool logo to their sleeves as "a mark of appreciation."

Both of the number one seeds in the playoffs, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, showed why they're at the top this weekend, dominating their opponents. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes put on a gritty performance, powering through an in-game ankle injury for a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Eagles will play the San Francisco 49ers, and the Chiefs will take on Joe Burrow's Cincinnati Bengals (and his "Seinfeld" sweatpants) next Sunday. The winners will then meet in the Super Bowl. WE'RE HERE FOR IT

The Washington Wizards will wear “Now is the Time to Make Justice a Reality for All” and recognize Martin Luther King III, Arndrea Waters King and Yolanda Renee King, who will attend. BETTER TOGETHER
