Life as a professional athlete
Sports is a cutthroat business; no one knows that better than an athlete experiencing their first trade.
There are more stories than not of athletes who found out they were traded via Twitter or the bottom line on ESPN. And in most cases, the player has no say, nor are they even aware they are on the market. From a business standpoint, as soon as a player is traded, their now former team's obligations to them are over, including travel to their next location and relocation.

The Masters was all over the place this weekend, and we're just talking about the weather that topped trees and suspended play. But nothing could stop Jon Rahm, who took home his second major victory yesterday. After a pep talk from his Super Bowl-winning friends, Rahm edged out LIV's Brooks Koepka and others for the win. In case you're wondering, Tiger Woods dropped out during the third round with an injury after making the cut for a record-tying 23rd consecutive time. DONE AND DONE

San Francisco 49ers (NFL - National Football League) superstar Christian McCaffrey and former miss universe Olivia Culpo announced their engagement.
The NBA (NBA - National Basketball Association) play-in tournament starts tomorrow, and teams are vying for a place in the postseason. For the first time in league history, all three Texas teams will miss the playoffs in the same season since the Mavericks became a franchise in 1980.
She was the star of the Super Bowl (NFL), and now the mom of Travis and Jason Kelce, Donna, has her own place in the NFL Hall of Fame.
Before We Go
The WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) Draft begins today. Watch for 6'5" Aliyah Boston from the (almost) undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks to be picked first. But, unfortunately, you won't see the March Madness stars Angel Reese (LSU) or Caitlin Clark (Iowa) in the draft because they are both too young to be eligible. But that didn't stop "Saturday Night Live" from poking fun at the rivalry between Clark and Young.

While golf seems so unapproachable with uptight rules and golf claps, the Masters has some fun quirks. Here’s what to say, what not to do, and why a green blazer is a coveted fashion statement.
The famed green jacket became a tradition in 1949. Members of the club decided on the color green so fans in attendance at the tournament could spot them in case they had questions. The Masters winner receives an iconic green jacket and you’ve probably seen pictures of the Kodak moment that is the previous year’s winner helping the new winner put on the jacket. The winner is allowed to have the green jacket for a calendar year. After that year, they’re only permitted to wear it on the grounds of Augusta
