Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers are out, but Patrick Mahomes and second-year quarterback Joe Burrow are in. The four remaining teams will play next Sunday for a spot in the Super Bowl. BEFORE WE GO

Minor league hockey team, the Hershey Bears, put their annual "Teddy Bear Toss" on hold during the pandemic, but fans showed up in a big way this year in its' 20th year. Collecting 52,341 animals on Saturday, the team shattered their previous record of 45,650 toys, set in 2019, and set a new world record. Over 50 volunteers bagged up the stuffed animals thrown on the ice to give to 25 local charities. SPREADING CHEER

Yesterday was a big day for the Kelce Family. Brothers Jason and Travis were both playing in the NFL Wild Card weekend. While that sounds exciting, think about their poor mom who was trying to attend both games. She managed to fly from Jason's game in Tampa Bay to Travis's game in Kansas City, earning the title of super mom. Sadly, Jason's Eagles lost so for better or for worse, she won't have to do this again next weekend. FREQUENT FLIER MILES

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

A new champion will be crowned tonight in the College Football National Championship Game. Alabama and Georgia will fight for the title, but these teams are familiar foes. Since arriving at Georgia, head coach Kirby Smart and his Bulldogs are 0-4 against Alabama. Meanwhile, the internet is obsessed with Alabama head coach Nick Saban and his leather bomber jacket. Saban is going for his record eighth championship.

Instead of a live halftime show, Katy Perry and Alesso will debut the music video for their song, "When I'm Gone." HERE FOR THE PARTY

After making him wait over the weekend, an Australian judge reinstated tennis player Novak Djokovic's visa into the country. This still doesn't mean Djokovic's visa won't be canceled again nor play in the Australian Open, which starts next week, but it's a step in the right direction for the defending champion.
