Even though they were favored, the U.S. Ryder Cup team once again failed to bring home a victory on European soil; a feat that hasn’t been accomplished since 1993. Golfer Phil Mickelson didn’t let the loss to Team Europe get him down. He was seen after hours breaking out his bar tricks by kicking a water bottle off his teammates head. THAT’S GOING TO HURT IN THE MORNING


SIDELINE STAT

As if a season with 162 games wasn’t long enough, there are two ties for division champions leading into the MLB (Major League Baseball) playoffs. The tiebreaker games between the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers and the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies will be played today. COACHES’ CORNER

There was some controversy in this weekend’s Russian Grand Prix F1 (Formula One) race. Driver Valtteri Bottas had to put aside his pride when was ordered to let his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton pass him so Hamilton could win the race and continue to build his overall points lead toward a season title. Hamilton was greeted after the race by Vladimir Putin. Putin posed for the cameras but he still holds a grudge against Hamilton who sprayed him with victory champagne after his last win at the Russian Grand Prix. THE TASTE OF VICTORY
