Overtime
All good things come to an end and the saying rings true for the Caroline Hurricanes (NHL – National Hockey League) victory celebrations. The team has orchestrated outlandish celebrations including an elaborate game of duck, duck, goose and a March Madness slam dunk celebration complete with a hoop on the ice. The celebration has created a buzz around the team but they’re now focusing on the playoffs, which start in April. NO ENCORE

Yesterday was a day to celebrate - Opening Day in Major League Baseball (MLB). But it was a day of sadness for a Phoenix area spring training mecca. Don and Charlie’s Restaurant, known for their incredible collection of autographed baseballs, was robbed. The thieves made off with 34 baseballs worth $600,000. PRICEY POSSESSIONS

Golden State Warriors’ Jordan Bell (NBA – National Basketball Association) thought it would be funny to charge incidentals to his coach’s room in the team hotel but no one was laughing. Bell was suspended for one game for his antics. This isn't the first time he's done this but apparently the $15 candle from this incident was the straw that broke the camel's back. WHAT’S MY AGE AGAIN?
What to watch
Don’t quit your day job. Indianapolis Colts (NFL - National Football League) quarterback Andrew Luck and Los Angeles Angels (MLB) outfielder Mike Trout (who recently signed the biggest contract in North American sports) break out the moves in a 70s-style dance off to promote a new sports drink.
