In an unusual move during football season, the NBA has made significant headlines this week, and none for positive reasons. First, there was Robert Sarver's suspension and potential sale of the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury.
Now Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka has been suspended for the 2022-23 season for allegedly having an improper relationship with a staff member, violating team rules. Udoka's partner is actress Nia Long. After a week of the Adam Levine scandal, Twitter was equally appalled for Long, with one tweet stating simply, "Bro... It's NIA LONG!!!" TSK TSK
Short and Sweet
Roger Federer will play in his final tennis tournament, the "Europe vs. The World" Laver Cup this weekend. Federer and Rafael Nadal will play Americans Jack Sock and US Open sensation Frances Tiafoe.
The FIFA 2023 (soccer) video game will feature Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond.
The Presidents Cup is back after three years off. The typically biennial event pits the best in golf from the US against the best in the world (anywhere besides Europe) in a team match-play competition. No players from the LIV are eligible to participate.
Two of the oldest players in the NFL - National Football League, quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, will face each other on the field Sunday afternoon.

Apple couldn't have scripted this better if it was one of their series. Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees (MLB - Major League Baseball) is likely to tie and possibly break the 61-year American League home run record set by Roger Maris while playing longtime rivals, the Boston Red Sox, this weekend. The series' first game is tonight and streamed exclusively on Apple TV. IT'S A LONG SHOT
