NBA (NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION)

The NBA Playoffs are in full force, but protestors are overshadowing them. In the tied series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Memphis Grizzlies, animal rights activists protested the game over owner Glen Taylor's killing of millions of chickens due to the bird flu. Security managed to tackle one protestor wearing an NBA referee jersey who stormed the court midgame. She was the third protestor removed from the court in the past ten games. TECHNICAL FOUL

FYI: Former baseball player (and J-Lo ex) Alex Rodriguez is also an owner of the Timberwolves.

Short and Sweet

  • Former Masters champion, golfer Dustin Johnson and Paulina Gretzky marry in a lavish ceremony in Tennesse this weekend.

  • No. 1 ranked Iga Świątek (tennis) is having an unprecedented year. She is on a 23-match win streak and just won her fourth tournament of the year.

  • Boxer Tyson Fury defended his heavyweight title in front of 94,000 fans this weekend. Then he serenaded them with the song "American Pie."

Before We Go

Who has the worst fans in the world? According to the Cleveland Guardians (MLB- Major League Baseball) outfielders, the Yankees do. During a game at Yankees Stadium, fans heckled an injured Cleveland outfielder who needed medical attention. They then threw trash, including beer, at the Cleveland outfielders Myles Straw and Oscar Mercado after a Yankees comeback win. Straw and Mercado didn't hesitate to call them "Classless" and the "Worst fan base on the planet." TAKING IT TOO FAR
