When the military academies play each other in football, it’s a long-standing tradition to steal the other team’s mascot. Army and Navy have done this for years but no one has previously been able to capture the Air Force falcon. Well this year the tradition went awry when two Army cadets abducted the Air Force falcon, leaving it injured. Luckily, Aurora the falcon is expected to make a full recovery. SOMEONE’S IN TROUBLE NOW

There are 20,000 Snickers fueling the Dallas Cowboys’ Tank Lawrence (NFL - National Football League) in tonight’s Monday Night Football game. He’ll be wearing special Snickers branded cleats and if he records a sack in the game, the candy brand will donate 20,000 Snickers Sacks to service members as part of the Operation Gratitude initiative. It was a beautiful day for the NYC Marathon yesterday and an even better day for Daniel Romanchuk. With his win, he claimed two titles, the youngest racer to ever win the wheelchair race and the first U.S. man to do so. SUNDAY FUNDAY

The team had a hunch Russell wasn’t preparing for the games so they provided him with blank tapes of “game film” to see if he actually watched them. He didn’t but lied and said he did. When you’re on top of the world. The Boston Red Sox are World Champions. The Red Sox defeated the Dodgers last night to win the World Series. After going through an 86-year drought, they are the only team to win four championships in the 21st century. The MVP of the series is 35-year-old Steve Pearce. In his 12 major league seasons, Pearce has played for seven different teams without ever making an all-star team. This was his time to shine. WE’RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND

Florida State University set a record on Saturday - its worse home loss in school history. Their fans became desperate for entertainment, with one, an FSU professor, turning to a shirtless tan in the bleachers while reading a novel. Unbeknownst to him, he captured the attention of the TV cameras and Twitter. THAT’S QUITE A LOOK

The Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL – National Football Association) were in London to play in one of the league’s international games. While there, four Jags players were arrested for not paying their bar tab. Seems extreme but it was a $64,000 bar tab. When your temper gets the best of you. LeBron James’ home debut with the Los Angeles Lakers didn’t have a Hollywood ending. Not only did the Lakers lose to the Houston Rockets but toward the end of the game a fight erupted, punches were thrown, players were ejected and yesterday the league handed out some serious suspensions. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on their first international trip as a married couple and as part of the trip they attended the Invictus Games in Sydney. The Games were started by Prince Harry to “inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women.” Over 500 competitors from 18 different nations are competing in this year’s event, which runs through October 27. Houston Texans (NFL – National Football League) quarterback Deshaun Watson was too injured to fly, but not too injured to play. But how? Watson is suffering from a bruised lung and sore ribs that forced him to skip the team flight and take a 12-hour bus ride to Jacksonville, where he led his team to a victory. UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) fighter Conor McGregor is on a promotional tour for his Proper 12 whiskey. During the tour, he handed out 10 World Series tickets to Boston firefighters.
