We're weeks away from the Super Bowl, and yesterday, we learned the Super Bowl pregame entertainment lineup. Prepare for an unforgettable performance with Reba McEntire singing the national anthem, Post Malone belting out "America the Beautiful," and Andra Day moving us with "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
NFL Divisional Rounds: uncrustables and Mr. Irrelevant
This weekend, brace yourselves for the NFL (National Football League) divisional rounds featuring four games sure to keep us on the edge of our seats. On Saturday, the Baltimore Ravens face off against the Houston Texans and their sensational rookie quarterback, CJ Stroud. The Ravens revealed their team is fueled by 30-60 a day or 7,500 a season. They have also gone through 6,200 beef jerky sticks, 3,600 snack bars, 2,850 energy chews, 1,800 bags of sunflower seeds and 460 energy bites.
In another Saturday showdown, the San Francisco 49ers are the favorites in their game against the Green Bay Packers with their "Mr. Irrelevant QB" Brock Purddy and Christian McCaffrey. Former Aaron Rodgers backup, Jordan Love, has had a heck of a season.
Sunday brings the Buccaneers vs. Lions matchup, marking the first time the Lions host two playoff games in a single se "ason. Can they break the streak and secure a historic win? The weekend wraps up with the highly anticipated clash between the Chiefs and Bills, featuring Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in a postseason battle. Travis Kelce's brother Jason Kelce, whose Eagles recently lost in the playoffs, hinted he may attend the game. Jason hasn't officially retired yet but told his teammates he's hanging up his cleats.
Off-the-Field Highlights
The New England Patriots held a press conference announcing their new head coach, former linebacker Jerod Mayo. Owner Robhasn'taft said he was "colorblind" when hiring Mayo, the first Black head coach in franchise history. Mayo responded almost immediately with a different view, saying, "I do see color because I believe if you don't see color, you can't see racism." NFL coaches—especially brand-new" ones—rarely comment on issues of race.

Tonight, the NFL goes head-to-head with the Emmy Awards, featuring the icy game between the Buffalo Bills vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and Eagles vs. Buccaneers.
Due to weather, the Buffalo-Pittsburgh game was rescheduled from Sunday to Monday and will begin at 4:40 pm ET. The Bills Mafia showed up. They’re the real MVPs, shoveling out the stadium shirtless in a snowstorm – I barely survive winter with a heated blanket.
The Bucs-Eagles game features two teams riddled with injuries. Will this be Jason Kelce’s last playoff game? Find out in the evening game starting at 8:15 pm ET.

The Miami Dolphins are heading to freezing cold Kansas City, and their matchup is exclusively on Peacock. Fans are not thrilled, but it's an excuse to have a get-together with your friend who has Peacock. The Chiefs' Travis Kelce's personal chef revealed his 4,000-calorie diet consists of oatmeal and seafood alfredo. That dish may be perfect for after this game, which could be the coldest in NFL history.
The best part about the story of Kelce’s personal chef is that it’s his childhood friend who used to cook for them all the time as kids. He was a truck driver until Kelce called him, and he’s never looked back.
Sunday- Los Angeles Rams vs. Detroit Lions
This game has a quarterback swap that screams soap opera drama. Both QBs previously played for their opponent. Matt Stafford is heading back to Detroit, where he played for 12 years, where Jared Goff will face his former team that swapped him for Stafford.
