How's that bracket doing? The biggest upset in the men's tournament thus far was No. 13 Furham beating No. 3 ranked Virginia, but it certainly wasn't the only one. If you picked Furham, good for you. Their win had many of us asking, where is Furham? Furman University is a private liberal arts university (that is clearly good at basketball) in Greenville, South Carolina.
Today marks the second day of the men's tournament and the first day for the women.

March Madness is upon us with Selection Sunday this weekend. Both the women's and men's brackets will be unveiled on Sunday. How do teams make it to the "big dance?" They can either win their conference championship tournament (aka an automatic bid) or have a regular season so outstanding that the committee* selects their team. GAME ON
*The twelve-member basketball selection committee is made up of athletic directors and conference commissioners throughout Division I men's and women's athletics with separate committees for the men's and women's tournaments.

The Sunday World Baseball Classic game between Mexico and the United States is sold out. It is one of North America's most highly anticipated sporting events this year.
The highly anticipated Players Championship (PGA - Professional Golfers Association) is in full swing. Defending champion Cam Smith will not be present since he joined the LIV Golf League. Instead, he's in Mexico fishing.
