National Spelling Bee
In a controversial ending to last night’s Scripps National Spelling Bee, for the first time ever, there were eight winners. They were all so good that Scripps ran out of words to challenge them with, even though they threw out words like "Stakhanovite" and "marmennill" (which spell check doesn’t even recognize). WE’RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER DICTIONARY

While the NBA Finals (NBA - National Basketball Association) have the Golden State Warriors facing off against the Toronto Raptors, the real finals battle is between Taco Bell and Chipotle. Chipotle is giving away up to $1 million in free burritos to fans that take to Twitter every time the on-air announcer says “free.” Not to be outdone, Taco Bell is giving away free tacos when the away team wins a game. NHL (National Hockey League)
When the unthinkable happens. The Washington Capitals are NHL Champions. The team, which capitalized on a 3-1 lead in the series against the Vegas Golden Knights, hoisted the Stanley Cup last night for the first time in franchise history. The playoff MVP and one of hockey’s best Alex Ovechkin, helped break the 44-year curse for the Washington, D.C. franchise. MAKING HISTORY

Golden State Warriors fans are about to go loco and it’s not only because their team is one win away from winning another NBA (National Basketball Association) championship. Thanks to the Warriors win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road earlier this week, everyone in America will get free Doritos Locos Tacos from Taco Bell on June 13th. That being said, the two teams play tonight in a do or die situation for King James and his Cavs. HITTING THE HARDWOOD
